I would like to share with you something peculiar about me. When Iâm in physical pain, like a stubbed toe or heading out for a run in freezing temperatures, I say, âMind over matter, mind over matter, mind over. Nancy Salzman..â I continuously repeat this over and over again, and somehow… it works. This, obviously I can do it as an adult. I recall me as a 5 year old, going in for vaccines. It took 3 nurses, and both of my parents, to hold me down, while another nurse administered the shots despite the kicking and screaming. I can gladly tell you that I have mature and it is very common now for me to have a shot or even volunteer as a blood donor. My personal method is to think of something and watch a specific point in the room. Actually, the shots as a kid were no more painful than a few failed attempts at getting blood drawn. So whatâs the difference? And why do some adults seem to be affected by pain more than others? Based in the method I told you before, the mind could be capable of controlling your body. I truly think that is totally possible. The simple fact is, pain is pain. You will feel it for a second or more because it is the reaction to something that hurt you. But after that thereâs something more: thereâs how we handle the pain. Notice that every human act in a different way when having the same level of pain Executive Success Programs. Being afraid impacts in the connection between your mind and body. If how we handle pain is an option, then why would anyone prefer to handle it badly, making the painful event perhaps even more painful? This reaffirms my behavior against shots when I was 5. Directly speaking I think I was nervous. I didnât know what was going on, had never experienced that before. In fact, after doing all that chaos, my family gave some kind of present. And every time I wanted something, I just had to say louder how much my arm hurt, and I will definitely get it. The most I overreact, the most benefits I was able to get. Not mattering my brothers at home I was the most important one. So I get confused about what to do when you are in pain. So, are there ways to address how individuals handle to be in pain? Some studies have proven people can do it so we may have good news for the world who suffers a lot because of pain. I have a very good friend who was involved in an accident and had serious injuries that will keep him a long period of suffering strong pains but He decided try a Keith Raniereâs plan. My friend was able to handle his pain admirably and shorten his recovery time, exceeding the expectations of the doctors. I am waiting to learning more about some of the training programs that NXIVM has to offer.
